Joelle

Fitness Instructor

Health and fitness have always been a major component of Joelle’s life. Growing up, she played several team and individual sports but hockey became her main focus. Her hockey career ended at the University level with the U of A Pandas. There, she achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, majoring in sports performance. Her degree brought her experience working with a variety of clientele. She is currently training hockey teams and group classes in Sherwood Park and is the trainer for HIIT and targeted group exercise classes at Sirona.

Joelle’s passion for fitness comes from her desire to make a difference in others’ lives and to make people feel great about themselves. Health and fitness are for everyone and there is a direct relationship between physical and mental health. Joelle seeks to help others feel strong, healthy, confident and happy – not only through physical activity but also through every interaction and experience.

Camille

Fitness Instructor

Camille has trained and performed for many years in ballet, jazz, tap, flamenco and contemporary dance. A member of a dance company, she has performed at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival
for years and in other dance and theatre productions. Camille teaches jazz classes at the U of A., contemporary, jazz, ballet and dance conditioning classes throughout the city, and is a certified Xtend Barre instructor. She completed a B.A. degree at the University of Alberta.


Camille loves teaching dance and fitness classes! She wants her students to feel strong and graceful, focusing on proper alignment while building stamina, strength and coordination. She hopes to inspire them to challenge themselves and have fun as they achieve their goals in a warm and welcoming
environment. She can’t wait to meet you all!

Fitness Instructor

Hannah’s passion for Health & Fitness started in 2013 when she began working reception at a gym located in Sherwood Park. Her love for fitness grew from seeing members transform, not only physically but also emotionally. This motivated her to become a personal trainer so that she could guide others in increasing their quality of life. Hannah has also spent the last 4 years working at a supplement store to expand her knowledge on sports nutrition and micronutrients.

Hannah is an American Council of Exercise ( ACE ) certified personal trainer as well as a certified fitness nutrition coach through NESTA.  She believes that everyone should wake up in the morning feeling good about themselves and that is what she strives to accomplish through training others. Her goal is help others feel confident in their own skin and create an environment where people can feel completely comfortable. Hannah specializes in HIIT 45, 321, and Cardio & Pump and would love to see you in one of her classes!

Michelle

Fitness Instructor

Michelle is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, Buddhist Meditation Teacher and Mindfulness-Based Life Coach. She has background in Secondary Education and has taught a broad range of subjects, including English, Art, Drama, Yoga and Mindfulness to teens.

Being born with a severe lung condition known as Cystic Fibrosis, Michelle is no stranger to stress, pain and illness. Yoga, meditation and mindfulness have all played vital roles in Michelle’s mental, physical as well as spiritual health and wellbeing over the years.

Fuelled by a deep love for people, an ardent desire to serve others and a strong passion for wellness, Michelle has dedicated her life to helping those around her strengthen their capacity to face life’s challenges as well as enhance their inner peace, compassion, loving-kindness and joy.

In addition to teaching and coaching, Michelle delights in studying eastern philosophy, psychology, spirituality and self-development. When she’s not working or reading a book on these topics, she can likely be found writing, sketching, forest bathing, spending time with loved ones, travelling and - of course - meditating as well as doing yoga.

Lindsay

Fitness Instructor

Lindsay is obsessed with health and wellness! She has a medical background of as an LPN with over 9 years experience. What brought her to yoga was how stressful the nursing profession was and has since been doing her own practice for 7 years. She has her 200 RYT and will continue to expand further in her practice. She loves to teach Hatha yoga mixed in with some Yin yoga, while involving essential oils, that can optimize your health and well being.

Olivia

Fitness Instructor

Olivia developed a passion for health and fitness when she started taking kickboxing classes, proving to her that although she had never played sports she could still be athletic! She is an International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) certified personal trainer and sports nutrition coach. Olivia has been an aquatic instructor for the City of Edmonton since 2016 and has taught a range of classes for different levels and age groups. She loves seeing her participants progress and feel more confident as they learn new skills.

Currently, Olivia is a student at the U of A, doing her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. Her goal is to stay functionally fit, so she feels confident going on big hiking trips, joining recreational sports teams and trying other activities. She wants you to be able to gain the same confidence through fitness. She loves reading fiction novels, spending time with her friends and trying new sports.

Patrick Doll

Patrick Doll was a graduate of MacEwan University's Massage Therapy Diploma program in 2016. He is a current member of the Registered Massage Therapists of Alberta (RMTA), specializing in deep tissue, therapeutic, relaxation, reflexology, and Thai massage. He recently completed a 3-month, 390-hour comprehensive Certified Advanced Practitioner and Teacher Training Program at the International Training Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. There he earned his designation as a certified Thai massage instructor, where he has had the pleasure of teaching and certifying students in level 1 & 2 massage techniques at the International Training Massage School. In Thailand, he also learned the art of ancient Northern Thai massage (Nuad Boran) as well as Thai reflexology. Additionally, he is certified in hot stone massage, Thai massage, Thai foot reflexology, herbal massage, acupressure, meridian massage, and athletic stretching. For the past five years, he has been working as an RMT for a variety of top establishments in Canada, such as the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Working there, Patrick was able to live out his passion for the outdoors, winter sports, and carry out an active lifestyle in the Canadian Rockies. With a long-standing background in rugby, football, and downhill ski racing, he fully appreciates that massage is a critical factor in injury prevention. He believes that massage therapy is a vital aspect of a balanced, holistic approach to wellness. Patrick is very excited to be returning to Edmonton to join the Sirona Health and Fitness team. He is known for his compassionate, caring, and calm demeanor. He is genuinely interested in the health and well-being of his clients and enjoys helping them achieve their health goals.

Bryanne Royer

Bryanne Royer is a recent graduate of MacEwan University’s Massage Therapy Diploma Program.  She is a current member of the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta (MTAA). She grew up going to francophones schools in Edmonton.  Being active is something that is and has been always important to her; she grew up playing multiple sports from hockey, soccer, volleyball, swimming, and dance.  Her passion lead to teaching dance for multiple years for all age levels.  Throughout her years of sports, she developed a few injuries. She tried many things to alleviate her pain and discomfort. The benefits of massage therapy lead her to this career.  In her spare time, Bryanne likes to cook and try new recipes, spend time outside, and be with family and friends. Bryanne is excited to join the Sirona Health and Fitness team to learn and grow her knowledge in the massage therapy field.

Ashley was first introduced to yoga in 2000. She quickly fell in love with the calm and steadiness of breath the practice brought. In 2008, she left her job working in the ICU to travel to India to complete her first yoga teacher training program. Since 2008 Ashley has been steadily involved in yoga communities teaching and leading classes as well as completing many more trainings and certificates. Her teaching approach is a reflection of her own daily practice which is based on the foundation of cultivating acceptance and self love through yoga, meditation and self reflection.

Cheryl Safroniuk

Cheryl is a graduate of Makami College Massage Therapy program 2015 (3000 hours)  and a current member of the Certified Massage Therapist Association (CMRTA). Most of her treatments include relaxation, therapeutic and deep tissue work. She got into massage to combine her two passions; fitness and injury treatment/prevention. She is a fitness competitor in her spare time and will be competing at the pro qualifier later this year. She enjoys spending time outdoors in both summer and winter months, playing golf, watching sports, cooking, festivals, and traveling with family.
